The collection Light Mantra by the artist Charwei Tsai inherited its concept from We Came Whirling Out of Nothingness, shaped into a nebulous glow drifting in a misty space. Starting from the structures of photography, the image subsides into layers of pixels through modern media technology. Employing traditional printmaking techniques, the image was printed in a reverse way with a single color at a time, in order to recreate the original impression. Caused by the various textures of the mediums, the recomposed image has a mutative look. The interaction between spirit and substance is transmitted through the progression by the artist.
