The collection We Came Whirling Out of Nothingness, by the artist Tsai Charwei, is aimed for discovering the intriguing relation between human history and the forms of organisms. Similar swirls are repeatedly shown in all scales, from the tiny shell of a snail to the infinite galaxy. The mystery of whirling figures connects the space and life in every unseen corner, just as DNA spiraled inside of us.
We Came Whirling Out of Nothingness - Blue / Gray consists of the handwritten Heart Sutra in Tibetan. Examining the world through the concepts of Anitya (Impermanence) and Sunyata (Voidness), the artist Tsai made her attempt to question the form and meaning of nature behind the universal swirls.
